Bobby Hughes, Founder
Bobby Hughes founded Aardvark Design Labs in 2012 to help companies learn, apply, and scale human-centered design. He is passionate about creating playful experiences that promote learning and cultivate lasting, positive change.
Bobby is an award-winning designer with over 15 years of experience that includes leading design at IDEO, Kaiser Permanente, and lecturing at Stanford University ("the d.school").
He continues to enjoy consulting a wide range of organizations around the globe including Google, Nike, and The Nature Conservancy and loves bringing a design approach to tackling complex systemic problems. Bobby holds a BS in Physics from the University of Washington and an MS in Engineering/ Product Design from Stanford University.

The expert network
Aardvark Design Labs partners directly with clients for most projects, with Bobby Hughes as lead facilitator or project leader, shepherding an internal team through the design process. We love the relationship and learning that comes from working side by side with domain experts.
Some projects need more firepower. For these, we leverage a network of hand-selected world class design experts (often alums of IDEO and Stanford University) to support workshops, strategic initiatives, visual design, and so many other things. Our network is a true asset to our work, and our model ensures we deliver high quality output at a competitive rate for every project.
